Workshop Details:
- Topic: Qasma “Regular” and Hasba of the Cobweb “Ankbutiya” Pattern.
- Duration: Two interactive sessions
- Dates: 16th September and 17th September
- Time: 8AM -10:30AM CDT

What to Expect:
- Learn the fundamentals of Qasma Method and define the Qasma “ratio” of the pattern.
- Learn the Hasba Methodology “Channel+Twin-Track”
- Explore the rich history and cultural significance of Qasma & Hasba Methodology
· First session 16th September: Qasma “Exact Ratio” of the Ankbutiya Pattern from Ben Yusuf Medrasa, Marrakesh
· Second session 17th September: Hasba of a variation of the Ankbutiya from Andalucia and France
No prior experience needed! All skill levels are welcome.

Interlock: Short Film
Interlock is a short film that dramatizes the influence of at-Tastir (Maghrebi Geometric Art) on the protagonist's life.
A Moroccan Geometry professor who teaches in an American college, is bombarded with a stream of artistic, philosophical, and mathematical thoughts that push him to draw complex geometric patterns originated in Morocco.

~ Title of work: " The Blessing Of Mohammad" peace be upon him. "Barakatu Mohammad"
~ Medium: Cold press watercolor paper, 300gsm. Watercolor paint: Winsor and Newton. Schmincke Gold watercolor paint.
~ Description: The work represents the Andalusian-Maghrebi culture. It's a combination of at-Tasṭīr and Kufic Calligraphy. The pattern is one of the most famous patterns of Alhambra Palace in Granada along with the sacred term "Barakatu Mohammad" that was carved on the walls of the Essaouira City in Morocco for protection from the devils.
